Places and Experiences
Relatively new, somewhat small, Shibuya happening bar with quality food.
Note: [as of July 2024] it is mandatory to wear a (decorative) mask (cosplay or otherwise) inside the bar.
Pros:
– Food is indeed great: owner is basically a chef and will cook it on demand. Impressive choice of fresh pastries as well (but need to give notice ahead of time).
– Rei, the manager, is very friendly, talkative, and welcoming. She has plenty of interesting stories to share about Tokyo’s mizu shobai trade.
– Rules are fairly relaxed: play anywhere, with anyone, rope/BDSM OK…
– Foreigner-friendly (but no one can speak English)
Cons:
– Unfortunately quiet (for a Saturday night): only other patrons were 3 singles (1w, 2m). Perhaps bad luck due to next day being a special event.
– Place is a little cramped and messy. Play areas are 1 small and 1 medium-sized (~2-3 couples) rooms, with one-way mirrors.
